Russell's Story
Life
My family and I currently live in St. George, Utah.
Going back in time, after graduation in 1973, I attended BYU, served a mission in Taiwan for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, went back to BYU, got married to wonderful wife Cindy and have 7 great children now ranging in ages from19 to 28. We also have 2 cute little grandchildren. What a joy!
What am I doing now? Well, for a living, I am a salesman in a small 12 person software company, and love it. I am active in my church and have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in a little branch at a convalescence center. Serving the members there brings tears to my eyes. n feel their love and joy.
To keep in shape, my wife and I jog 3-4 miles 3-4 times a week. I am nothing like I was in high school when I wrestled, but at least I enjoy good health.
Over my rich life I have come to know that Jesus is indeed the Christ. That He lives, and that He knows me and loves me. I also know my Father in Heaven who also loves me and has been and continues to be so very kind to me. He has taught me and blessed me to the point that all that has happened in my life, both the good and the bad, has worked for my good. I have come to know His promise is true, that by loving Him, all things truly do work for our good. He has blessed me ubundantly with great peace and joy.
