Ruth's Story
After high school I went to school to become a Surgical Technologist. I worked at Parkview Memorial Hospital. After 5 years I went back to School and have a degree in Science and went to Nursing School. I worked in Surgery for approx 25 years and loved it. My husband of almost 22 years sold his Accounting Firm to American Express and them took a Corporate job in a new Division of H&R Block. Which moved us to Peachtree City, Georgia which is metro Atlanta. He hated working in a large Corporation and not being his own boss. He started a new CPA firm here 3 years ago and is doing very well. I was working as a Triage Nurse for a large OB-GYN practice, but quit to help him get the business here started. I have 3 kids. ey is almost 28 didn't move and works for Parkeview. My next child Erica is 20 and is at Andrew College in South GA on a golf scholarship. The youngest is 18 and is at West Point - United States Military Academy. He is a gymnast and received and appointment to Air Force and West Point to be on the men's gymnastic team. He has a Video on You Tube (Jared Breeden Gymnastics video)that we sent to all of the 19 Colleges that have a Men's Gymnastic Team which lead him to West Point. I have an empty nest now, but far from ever being bored. We try to attend all of the kids sporting events which are out of State most of the time. So with the new business, traveling to two kids sporting events we stay far too busy. All in all we are very blessed.
