Ruth's Story
Life
After gradtuation, I went to St. Kate's for a year. I just didn't feel like it was for me, so I took the next school year ('03-'04) off, and worked full time. That summer I was reintroduced to Travis Solland, and we started dating. Then in fall 2004 I went back to school at Globe College in Oakdale and studied Medical Assisting. And for the next year, I didn't do anything but school stuff.

we bought a 100 year old brick house and Centuria, WI. I gradutated June 24, 2006 with my Associates' Degree in Medical Assisting, and I love my new job working full time at the St. Croix Regional Medical Center Clinic in St. Croix Falls, WI. But the biggest news of all came about 3 weeks ago: we're expecting our first baby in March '07. It was a surprise (I had planned to go back to get my RN before we had kids), but we're both extremely excited and can't wait to meet him or her.
