Ruth's Story
Graduation and 20yrs forward were jam-packed with adventure. Lived in Mexico & places beyond (photog for surf mag's) mainly while I figured out life. Fulfilled the student role but wasn't ready to settle down until 1999. My son was born 1 month shy of 2001 & life began again in Kensington. Currently shuffling between New Orleans & St. John, USVI.
Several careers later I'm considering teaching law in Georgia. I'm just not so sure they are ready for Ruth! One never knows what life holds in suspenseful storage. Currently for me it's the impact of Katrina (my fathers business operates there) & uncovering those countless acts of fraud only a disaster can bring. Sadly, recovery won't truly prevail until names are knocked from the top & many are held accountable for their crimes. In the mix of all this I watch my son become a man, he's growing so fast I'm afraid I might miss this final stage. Now 8 but seemingly goi...Expand for more
ng on 20 he's a ranked BMX rider and loves surfing, when not attending the Tree-Hugger Academy known as Waldorf. Wherever he leads I will follow, after that, you can find me in the Maldives! Look around, I'll be on a permaculture farm. Everyone is welcome!
Im truly passionate about Living Green & not impacting the environment any more than necessary. Try to grow what we eat & hopefully leave this planet a better place for our kids. Yes, I'm thinking positive. .Maybe in another 8 yrs you'll find us bumming it in Baja, rethinking life in that sweet 67' VW Van. If not there, we'll be somewhere, doing something and if all goes well, loving & living life like it should be, peacefully.
