Ruth's Story

Married shortly after graduation, moved to Key West Fla. I was raw, green, small town girl with no idea about life. Key West is not the place for such as that. Moved to Charleston SC, more my speed. Old southern town, slow movin, slow talkin, lots of history. Had my first born there, a son. He is vet ( 82nd Airborn) now the web-master for the city of Irving, father of two beautiful children. Moved to Arkansas, lots of trees, had my second son there. He is vet (Navy) and father of two beautiful children. He is mister mom, his wife is nurse, they home school the kids. Moved to Burleson, had my baby girl, she is doctor at MD Anderson in Houston, has beautiful daughter. Moved to God's country in Bosque County, and found a home. Beautiful country, lots of wildlife, free and easy, great people. Divorced, that's all I can say abou...Expand for more
t that. Don't know why I didn't do it long ago, but.... Worked as school aide while my kids were in school, worked at local hospital as insurance clerk, went to work for the county 10 years ago, am now the director of the county archives/museum. I love my job! Remarried not long ago, and I am so happy. Was single for about ten years, and I hated it. I was born to be married, but it took a long time to find the right person. He owns his business, works out of home, plays the guitar (he's awesome) and we fish and just generally have a good time. I'm still crazy, but I'm harmless. I am an ultra-conservative, right wing religious fanatic who carries. That's about all I have to say...thanks for asking, Ruth Ann Nelson ps I hope that if anyone does remember me, they remember a friendly person who tried to be kind to everyone.
