Ruth's Story

Life Graduated from Ridgewood High School, then on to University of Maryland where I graduated with a degree in Speech Pathology/Audiology. After getting a Masters degree in Audiology from Penn State, I moved to Minneapolis where I worked in the University of Minnesota Dept. of Otolaryngology as an Audiologist for 6 years...Expand for more

Met my husband while in Minneapolis and soon after we got married, we moved to Sweden for a year while he did research as part of his Ph.d program and I worked as an Audiologist in a local hospital. We've been married for 30 1/2 years, have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Currently working as a programmer for IBM.

While the dishwasher looks black in this photo, it's actually stainless steel, not black-- it's just the angle and lighting that make it look black.
New quartz composite sink to replace the old stainless steel one and new brushed chrome faucet. At the point that this picture was taken, we hadn't yet gotten our new backsplash.
