Ruth's Story
I was born in Manhattan. Moved to Brooklyn. I went to 146, 10's and then John Jay High School. I married my boyfriend (since 1960) Joseph Vivenzio. He got drafted 2 months later in 1965. We had a daughter Phyllisann in 1967 another daughter Renee 1970 and a son in 1974 (he passed a way in 1975). We lived on 32 Street then bought a house on Seeley Street. Started to work in an insurance company (Liberty Mutual) who moved to Lynbrook so we bought a house in Bellmore next door to my sister. I worked for 23 1/2 years and then retired and bought a condo in Florida and that is where we are now. Loving life in Paradise. I would love to hear from anyone who went to school with me.
I always wanted to be a dancer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a nuts idea. As it turns out, they were right.

The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Olivia Brozowski, because we had a good time growing up.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/2 of it to the homeless, then spend the rest on children, family and friends.
My current age is 63. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm very loving and caring, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as scary.
I am not the skinny girl i was.
My sister and I were playing cowboys and Indians and we decided to start a fire on the floor of our bedroom because i was going to burn her at the stake. Well you can guess the floor caught fire and my aunt and uncle smelled the fire and broke down the door. My mother was not happy.
