Ruth's Story
After graduation at EYCI, I went on to complete Teachers' College and taught for 30 years. I also spent 6 years in the business world as a consultant, traveling around Canada conducting seminars and lectures. The last 5 years of my teaching career were spent working mostly with teens ( behavioral problems) and with gang members.
Retirement has been embraced and I am following my dreams, doing all the things I never had the time to do before. I'm enjoying life, am single, no children (alas), but the kids I taught were my joy.

fect idea. As it turns out, they were correct.
Hopping into the car and just driving away along the highway until I get tired and have to head home!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Peter Schmidt, because he was my first love..
I believe in keeping up with the times and dressing appropriately for one's age and figure. I am not afraid to add the odd touch of 'quirk' to my attire, just enough to add interest and make me memorable.
My first job was at Donlands Bakery, where I got paid 60 cents/hr. to serve the counter. What I remember most about it is the customers who wanted to adopt me!.
