nd studied acting with Betty Buckley (T. Schreiber) and voice with Miss Buckley's teacher Paul Gavert. Favorite roles include Pippin in PIPPIN (Millbrook Playhouse, PA), The Balladeer in ASSASSINS (ACT in San Antonio), Frank in ROCKY HORROR SHOW(Schreiner University, Kerrville) SpacePunk in STARMITES (Hartley House Theater, NYC) and Jesus in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR(ACT in San Antonio). Ryan became Musical Director for many talented ladies in NYC and TEXAS, compiling one woman cabaret shows for them. Past employers include THE DUPLEX, ROSE'S TURN, DON'T TELL MAMA'S and THE MONSTER all in Manhattan. In 1994 Ryan appeared on STARSEARCH as a male vocalist, advancing two weeks in a row. Ryan has recently moved back to San Antonio where he is surrounded by love and kindness.".
