S's Story
I served two tours with the US Army after high school and my last duty station was Fort Ord, CA where I worked in a military prison. My husband was also working at the prison when we met. He ended his tour and became a military dependent and I continued to wear the boots in the family for another five years. That was 27 years ago and the honeymoon never ended...we recently renewed our vows. The hubby just recently retired as a Peace Officer and I am currently working...Expand for more
for an international bank...contemplating retiring soon...WooHoo!!!We are so blessed to live on the central coast of California with our two children and two grandsons. We are very active in our church and can be found preparing meals at the homeless shelters during the weekends and holidays. That sums up 3 decades in a nutshell...smile =:0} On a side note, I spend most of my spare time quilting and when I need a break, I crochet. I am also American Idol's #1 fan.
