SHAWN's Story
Hello everyone you all knew me as Sean McInnis, but due to personal and legal issues my new name is now (Corey Nashawn Jackson). However, most of you treated like crap and made my school years difficult, to say the least! Yes, you all had it right because I was and I am gay and I am happy and I have someone who loves and accepts me with all of my hang ups as well as well as my endearing qualities! So you all had it right 30 years ago! I have finally learned to love and be myself without regard to what others think and/or feel as it concerns me. I have been through some rough times, I have been through the storms and rains, but God..... For those of you who said I would never make it or be anything or who thought I was academically challenged here is a status update: I have a B.A. in Music from DePaul University with Honors (GPA 3.95) and M.A. in Music from Northwestern University were I graduated Summa Cum Laude. l to earn my Doctorate in Music at the University of Chicago; UPDATE: I graduate in May 2019 with a Doctorate in Music with a perfect 4.0 GPA) yes, God is able!!!! I currently reside in Chicago, Illinois and I was loving relationship with Christopher Kellerman until tragedy struck March 17, 2015 and he was murdered in cold blood during a robbery. I am currently a Pastry Chef and I love what I do! Two long years at the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School paid off! I am also a licensed cosmetologist; hair is another of my passions!! I plan to teach music once I graduate and it's been a long time coming!! I worked for AT&T for 18 years and I worked for Xerox Corporation for 9 years before leaving the corporate world behind to pursue my Doctorate and my passion: baking and pastries!! I truly have a success story and I have truly been blessef!! All of the mistreatment, ugly words, and mean things that were said and done to me turned on the head of my enemies....look at me now!!
