Dear Herricks Friends, this is Sabine Mielke, since 35 years married to Jörg Schürmann, medical doctor, your former Herricks exchange student from Germany.After returning home from the US, I had to get my German graduation fom High School, did that in half a year and went to university studying economics.Studied at the universities of Braunschweig and Geneva and graduated from the university of Marburg in 72.Shortly after graduation my father died...Expand for more
and my brother and I took over his bottling plant and managed the firm for 30 years, aquiring the new ones to go with it.Now I`m retired and my husband will be so in April.Used to have 2 bullterriers-one at the time-over 25 years. The last one beeing 18 years old ,we bought him used,died in last September. We still miss him a lot he was a very fine dog,sweet with everyone including the neighbor`s cats.So, Friends, I hope to hear from you. Greetings Sabine
