My Spouse
I met Chuck through our college friends. Specifically, Michelle Kirk had known him from a guy she had dated. He used to see me at all the college night clubs but thought I was a snob so he never would approach me. Finally one night I asked Michelle about him. She thought his name was Doug, so for the next few weeks I called him Doug! One night our formal introductions were made and the rest is history. He is my best friend and soul mate. We recently celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary.
My Pets
Okay, this is my time to brag! Chuck and I don't have any children, so our pets are our babies. We have three small dogs, a yorkie, a peekapoo and a silky terrier. We also have a cat. ice a week. (This Humane Society is one of the very few no-kill shelters in the U.S.) Just last week Chuck was nominated to the Board Of Directors for our Humane Society in Kentucky. We are strong animal advocates and love the cause.
My Job
Currently I am the Property Manager for a commercial real estate owner and development company called Sun Properties in Louisville, Kentucky. I manage all their commercial properties. My portfolio includes two medical office buildings, a 24 building office park, an industrial warehouse park. Prior to our move to Kentucky, I was in residential property management as an Area Manager for a company called Royal American Management. I had properties in Jacksonville and Tallahassee that was over. I started out as a Leasing Consultant in 1993 for a company called First Properties and worked my way up in the industry.
