Sharon's Story
If you had told me in high school that I would eventually be living in New York (well, actually the Bronx) and married to a rabbi who is a chaplain at Rikers Island Prison, I would have thought you were crazy¿ but here I am. We¿ve been married for eight years now and that has certainly moved me in directions I could never have imagined.

College for about eight years, then came to New York and worked for the president of Juilliard for another eight. I have one daughter, Rosemary de Fremery, who¿s now 32 (how did THAT happen?) who is the Director of Management Information Systems at American Jewish World Service) and who also speaks and writes Japanese fluently. We¿re both big Red Sox fans (she even more than I!) which can get us in trouble in this neighborhood¿ we¿ve also had lots of fun at minor league games. I haven¿t quite accepted that I¿m over 60 now, but I still have lots of dreams and plans.
