Saeeda's Story

I hope they remember me as a good and loyal friend. Yet truthfully people probably remember me as weird and a loner. I had very few friends I always wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I wasn't really prepared for the challenging courses of pre-med then I found out I had some health issue and needed to leave school to take care of them. I used to exercise to relax then I got lazy (trying to revive the habit) now it is a combination of praying and reading Quran and sometimes I write short stories and whenever possible spend time alone to just be quite and think. The wildest thing I ever did in school was ditch school to look at show homes in Colorado Springs. Now that I think of it I was pretty boring in school. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have time for prayer, a nap when I am tired, and doing something beneficial to me and the community to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Islam is a way of life and muslims are required to pray 5 times a day and that is what I look forward to everyday. I would need a nap because I have narcolespy and need a to take naps periodically. I love to learn new things because I can get bored easily so I would like to be able to learn new things that would benefit me and I can then use those skills to help others. All my inspiration come from the Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his first wife Khadijah she was very loving, caring, wise, and supportive to him when times are hard. I ask Allah to help me in everything I do and thank him for all the blessing he gives me. I live majority of my time in Colorado, we moved here from Arizona when I was...Expand for more
little. I would like to move out of Colorado but what other place would have all the beautiful things Colorado have. I really want to travel the world and meet different people. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is not anyone, because all the people I care about I am still in contact with. I really like Korean historical dramas and Asian movies, especially martial arts, kung fu movies. My biggest surprise is I am good at computers, back in the day girls were not encourage to take programming and computers like my brother did. I surprised myself by learning on my own how to fix simple computer issues and learn the basic about computers. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a second level. My dream home would be most of the homes along Montview, Monaco blvd or build a home from the ground up design by me.. My niece and nephew remind me to be patient and to control my anger, also to very clear on what is expected. I also learn I need to have more fun and not be so serious. They shown me to be more loving. I would like to see Mrs. Christian, because she was my science teacher in junior high school. She sparked a love of science in me and was very patient with me when I did not get a concept. I would like to thank her. If I won $100 million, I'd give majority of it to the muslim community to build a masjid and school, then spend the rest on my mother and father, charity and myself. I live in the dorms and it is a great opportunity to meet people; however it was noisy which was much different from the quiet home I came from. My major suggestion is to get a dorm room with a kitchenette and has its own bathroom. Some people are just nasty!!
