Sali's Story
I now go by the name of Nika Rejto.
I am a professional flutist, with five recordings to date. I was nominated for a Grammy in 2006 for my last cd, Teazing Socrates, (jazz instrumental category)
I live in the San Francisco area, Lafayette to be exact.
I strated out at USC after graduation, then transferred to UCSB. I dropped out 2 quarters before graduation (stupid thing to do!) 19 years later, I returned to USC and graduated in 1990 with a BA in Drama/Humanities. I then moved to Redwood City with my two young children and re...Expand for more

I currently teach flute, piano, clarinet and voice.
I started my own record label, Unika Records in 1983 and curently have 5 jazz flute/vocal cds....
Naked Emotions, Bridge Weaver, Liquid Love, Midnite Kiss, and Teazing Socrates.
Perhaps you've even heard a cut on your local radio station. "Kareem" was played almost daily for 9 months, (1980'2) especially when a Laker's game was on! That was quite a thrill to hear it on the radio.
