Sally's Story
Update Aug. 24, 2011: Selkirk reunion was fun! Saw a few people that I knew and a couple of teachers! Kids looking at me like I was an "artifiact", lol!
I have 2 great kids. Christine was born in 1979, married, with 3 children, 2 teen girls and a pre-teen boy. Brad was born in 1981, married, they have 3 boys now. This makes 6 grandchildren! My kids and grandkids are wonderful and the best part of my life! I live on my own, work full time in the pharamacy in Zellers and it really keeps me busy! Been married and divorced twice (yuk and embarassing!!!). Love you, boys, but won't go the distance again, lol!
We moved to the Fraser Valley in 1976 and, guess what? I'm still here! But it's not so much the boonies anymore, lots of big changes over the years. Been to England a few times and travelled across Canada and the States to Newfoundland on the back of a motorcycle a few years back. That was an experience! Still love to ride! Cruised to Alaska and will definitely do THAT again! Lost my Mom and Dad in the last couple years, so now...Expand for more
I'm part of the "Next Generation"! Guess I'm just looking to connect a bit with the past.
Anyone interested in getting in touch, drop me an e-mail!
I added the below items with the story wizard:
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Pat Doyle, because he was my first love!
My best friend would tell you I'm not as confident as I come across, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as really extroverted and funny!
They asked if I still dressed like I did 20 years ago! Haha! I wish! But, I still wear my jeans, Beatles t-shirts, toe-ring sandals, runners, hoopy earrings!
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by lots of hard work (or a sugar daddy! - joke!).
How do I hope old friends remember me? Well, I just hope they DO remember me, lol!
I always wanted to be a cop when I grew up.
My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right, but I never followed through :(.
I share my home with myself, which I find lonely sometimes....
