Sally's Story
I became a widow in July of 2012 and its taken some adjusting. I haven't worked in a while but am starting to look for work again. My family is my world; 5 children & 6 grandchildren. Holidays at my house are noisy, crowded and chaotic. It's great! Along the way I've lived in San Antonio & Beaumont, Texas and Tallahassee, Florida. Loved Texas, hated Florida... civil rights of Catholics living in the north. We worked extensively with POW's families and the prisoners themselves. It was an amazing experience. I even had tea with Gerry Adams, President of Sinn Fein. If I ever go back, I'm staying! I'm writing my second novel and plan to self publish this one. I had a health scare a few years ago and its made me appreciate the little things, corny as that sounds. Well, there's my condensed story...
