Sally's Story
Sally's schools include Jackson High School. became a nurse through Jackson Community College in 1978 after living in Tucson, Arizona for a year. (I'll be back and finish this profile and update y'all on what I've been doing for 40+ years!) See ya in a bit-LOL-Sally I worked for 8 years at the State Prison for Men/Max security and was going to work there until I retired but the year 3 employee's were murdered I quit and moved to New Orleans. I had friends who lived there, all from Jackson, and I had visited once before moving there to go to Mardi Gras. I didn't come out of the French Quarter for 3 days!! I fell in love with the city and have zero regrets for moving there. It was so awesome to go to the park and sit and watch the huge ships come down the Mississippi River bringing who knows what from other countries. I'd wave and yell at the crew ...Expand for more
who would wave back and holler in a language I'd never heard of..but I'd get a kick out of it. I also would go down to the French Quarter on Saturdays and sit at Cafe'DeMont just drinking strong coffee and eat pastries people watching. I'm still a talker and was never without somebody to talk with. There is a massive flea Market down there and I loved shopping at it. I eventualy had a heat stroke and could no longer tolerate the heat and humidity so I moved back to Jackson in 2004. My Mom had passed away at age 60 of cancer and my 2 sister's, who always lived here, had there own lives going on so it has been hard to re-establish any friendships-especialy at my age! I'm still fun and game for just about anything....love going antiquing ,flea markets, estate sales etc.I'll be back again to finish my update. Take care y'all and get ahold of me!!!!-Sally
