Sally's Story
Life
Since 1975 I have no complaints, went to college and have always had a job. Got married in 1984 and have enjoyed every minute of it. Bought a house, have two children and a dog and now have my own business. I sell printing from a home office and this keeps me busy and available for the kids.
As of the fall of 2004 my daughter (Amy)will go off to college and my son (Tucker) will enter high school. How did life go by so fast? Would really like to hear from the class of 1975.
Since I wrote the above information in 2004, I am about to attend my daughter's graduation from college and then pack her off to Grad school (still deciding which one) She has gotten a degree in Athletic Training and we couldn't be more proud. It's great to have someone in the family to help with your aches and pains and push you at the gym at the same time.
My son will graduate from HS exactly a month later. He will attend prep school (Avon Old Farms) for one more year of high school and get stronger in the study department and hone his basketball skills. He is 6'4 and real...Expand for more
ly good at the sport, but had two injuries in HS that side lined him two years. He made up for it senior year and had a successful time.
We hit the AAU circuit in in April and will be in MA,RI,CT, and DC and hopefully some college coaches will see him and help us make a decision for his future studies.
Further update: as of 12/2/09 Amy is in her second year of grad School at Springfield College in MA, about an hour from home, she is really busy and will graduate in May. Tucker is at Clark University in Worcester, MA, he was recruited by many colleges and this is the one he chose. He made the varsity Basketball team and is the only freshman. We have made all of the games (so far) home and away, but the hour and half ride on a work night is wearing thin. We are enjoying the empty nest. My printing business is taking off and I find my myself printing on everything but paper. Yes, banners, table top displays for trade shows, emery boards, you name if a company wants their logo on it, I'll print it. Great fun and meeting a whole new group of customers.
