Sally's Story
Life
Married to William, with one daughter, Maureen, who will graduate from law school in May, 2009. (I was the last woman in our class to have that first child, after all, so she's young and keeps me that way!)
Avid reader and lifelong learner. Have developed keen interest in the sciences--too bad girls weren't encouraged in that direction back in the '60s. Enjoy theatre, museums, sports (Chicago's Bears, Bulls, and Cubs, and Marquette Golden Eagles basketball), all kinds of music, cooking, gardening,...Expand for more
decorating, and travel.
Career miss: stockbroker in the early 70's. Classic timing is everything scenario. Ugh.
Career hits: sold real estate and art; became a financial analyst; then Operations Manager and officer of a major international banking conglomerate.
Currently affiliated with the business (decidedly not the performing)side of the Hemmens Theatre in Elgin, Illinois, and developing and growing an online marketing business of my own.
Look forward to catching up with old friends in 2009.
