I have lived and taught school in the Las Vegas area for 23 years. I have been a classroom teacher and a math/literacy coach - site based and at the district level. I am also a consultant for Math Perspectives and provide professional development for teachers around the country. My oldest daughter, Alicyn, graduated from high school last spring and is attending Boise State. Go Broncos!! She is a communications/political science major. I miss her tons. So does her little sister, Evelyn. Evelyn will be 5 soon. She is one of the most joyous kids I've been around. She makes me laugh all the time. My husband, Ryan, is an ironworker most of the time. We have also been working on our promotional business. Bad timing economy wise but low overhead. Life is good! Obsessed with Miami Dolphins football - why exactly did I have to hide that though high school? I am a rejuvinated Boise State Bronco fan. They never played that way when I was in the stands cheering. Now that my daughter is there - it is so exciting. Another Fiesta Bowl! Gotta be there. Only American Idol for reality TV.
