Life 3 YEARS IN ARMY (Fort Dix, Ft Ben harrison, Korea with First Cavalry in Yongju-gol near DMZ and finally Brooke Army Medical center at San Antonio, Texas). When I was in Korea I was honored to be selected to represent the U S Army and the 1st cavalry at the First Annual USO Gold Plate Dinner at the Tokyo Hilton in Tokyo, Japan in January 1964. While I was in Tokyo, I visited the USO club and as I signed the register the previous name was our own class mate Bob Brink! He was already gone and I finally got to tell him 48 years later at our 50th reunion. I was honor graduate at my military classes in Indianapolis and in Korea. Two things I learned as soon as I joined the army as a result of their extensive testing. I was red/green blind. I had a IQ of 140 which explains how I got through high school despite not opening many books. 27 YEARS WITH THATCHER GLASS ELMIRA HEADQUARTERS and Anchor Glass Tampa Headquarters (1966-1993). I was in management starting in 1969 in various financial positions and transferred to Information Technology in 1974 as a Director Have been featured in several articles in Business magazines such as Information Week and others. Quit the Glass industry in 1993. LEFT ELMIRA and Thatcher in 1984 FOR FLORIDA and joined Anchor Glass as they began a series of corporate takeovers including Thatcher Glass. LIVE IN BEAUTIFUL SARASOTA. GOT INVOLVED WITH REAL ESTATE SALES IN MID 1994 TO KEEP BUSY. Sold lots of homes and was top salesman at Coldwell Banker for many years. Since 2005 I started to travel more and am no longer active with any employment.
