Sam's Story
Hey everybody:
Hope this message finds you all well. Life has been great since high school. As some of you know, I studied at UBC for both degrees. Ended up in the mining industry - moved back East to Ontario to work the mines. Lived in quite a few small mining towns (Timmins, Thunder Bay, Red Lake) gaining some operations experience. Then I got the call to work in Toronto for a consultancy. That was my chance to travel and see the world - mostly the cold countries (Russia, Khazakstan, Nunavut). At the time, we were hoping for a chance to move back home (Vancouver)...Expand for more
. It came through an opportunity with a much bigger consultancy called AMEC in 2006. I truly enjoyed working there and am indebted to them for bringing the family back West...
But I switched over to where I am now -Silver Wheaton, early this year 2008. With this new role, I am traveling abroad (mostly in Mexico, Central and South America) in search of silver. Lots of fun as I've seen quite a few neat places... check out our web site!
However, my greatest success and happiness come from my wonderful wife and two kids. Well, that is all for now.
