Sam's Story
After Godby went to Furman Univ, majored in music, then FSU, then to Washington DC for 10 years doing social work with low income people, then to El Salvador for 5 years doing community development work, now 8 years in Harrisonburg VA. Currently part time at home w kids, also do diversity workshops for a small immigrant resource center, and am trying to start a food cooperative here. r, 3 kids Heather, Alex, Ana, aged 13-17. Enjoyed my time at Godby HS more than college, miss all my friends, and Tallahassee. Some great years there in band, swim team, state football champs my jr year. Still have my french horn and still play periodically, as well as piano.
