Sam's Story

Who am I? That is funny. I do not know if I am so bold as or self rightous to tell you who I am but I can give you the basics. When HS was over I worked as a carpenter at first and after a few years decided to take classes at WCC. Eventually I finished and went on to Binghamton U and received a degree in english lit. Then I did a couple job before settling in a sales job dealing with liquor. Now I sell to stores all over manhattan. I live in a coop in a beautiful apt. in the south bronx behind the old yankee stadium. My place is spacious and overlooks a big park with large trees. Very nice. I also have a house in austin texa...Expand for more
s. I love new york city and especially the Bronx. I was born here and am a 3rd generation bronxite. But dobbs has a special place in my heart where I grew up and went to HS. It was a fun time for me. Even finishing 2nd to last in my class did not stop me from going to a good college and being successful making very good money. To all those teachers and deans and principals who labeled me a problem child and said I will not make it can go to you know where. You can do poorly in HS and still go on to the same colleges as the best students. Dobbs was one of the worst high schools. Terrible teachers and classes. It was a joke.
