Appointed to position as Union Business Representative for International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers July 1990

Attended SJ City College 1971 & 1972 as Journalism Major & returned later to take Labor Studies classes - received Gen Ed AA in June 1984
Married in 1969 to Jo Anita who had 1 Daughter, Sonya - Jo died at age 46 in January, 1993
Married again in 1997 to Laura Annette who also had 1 Daughter, Rochelle

Member of San Jose Harley Owners Group. Most recently, appointed to Santa Clara County Senior Cares Commission by Supervisor Cindy Chavez.
Death of second wife, Laura Annette Saiu, on October 4, 2023, from CJD, a rare, fatal, brain disorder.
