Update July 2011 - Finished first week transfer from Jakarta to Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Port City in the North Caspian Sea - yes, middle of no-where... again. New assignment, Wife will join me in Sept. Heard of a reunion in late July ('71-'72?) - will miss it. But trying to fly into to Boom Days and see Mom 6 Aug. I read the Herald Democrat online, see some familiar names (like Sherrif Rod Fenske!). Regards.

09 - Leaving Russia in a week. Transfer to Jakarta, Indonesia with Victoria. Still with ExxonMobil, maybe last assignment, not sure. Russia was a wild 3-1/2 yr ride. Professionally great, wonderful expats but hard life in a small town with no where to go...kinda like..Leadville..only really - no where to go... Now try some warm weather, dodge the true believers in Bali, etc. Hope all are fine. Once more, through the fog...
