Samantha's Story
Life
I got married right after high school to the person I had dated all through high school but it didn't work out and we divorced 3 years later. My life really began when I married Jason, who I met in Alaska, in 1999. I have two step-daughters, Lindsey 11 and Taylor 10. Together we have Kaleigh 5 and Tennley 1. I recently became a stay at home mom and have decided that is where I'm happiest. We live in North Pole, Alaska (right outside Fairbanks). We have a beautiful home and lots of good friends up here. It is a very laid back place to live. My husband and I enjoy hunting and fishing in our free time so Alaska is the place to live for that. The winters are brutal but the summers make up for it. s with a weekly tournament of Texas Hold-em. One day I plan on making the buy-in at the World Series of Poker so don't be surprised if you see me as the first woman to win in the Series history. Summer's here are awesome so our poker hurts in the summer. There is so much to do outside with all the hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling that you can get, that is if you can live with the mosquitos. They are our state bird. No really you just need to wear "Bug Dope" and then it is playing outside from sun up until sun down which can be for over 20 hours a day. I've seen many people out doing yard work and working on cars at 3 in the morning in the summer. Sometimes you just forget to go to bed and before you know it it's time to go to work. I'd enjoy hearing from some old friends.
