Samson's Story
Samson's schools include Fruitport High School, after graduation, I joined the Navy, lived in California, Naval Air Station, North Island. San Diego. After the Service returned home, moved to Indiana for work. Back to Michigan, where I worked in apartment. Mgmt, for several years, moved to Florida in 1989, worked for several different construction company's home builders, then went to work on a private island, as the pool tech. Where I worked until my retirement. I have served as the Mission Chairman for the Treasure Coast March of Dimes, having worked with them from 2001 - 2010, during which time I raised over $ 40,000.00 and helped to raise awareness about premature births, in 2011 I worked a Fundraiser for the Veterans of St. Luc...Expand for more
ie. County, where I spent an entire year raising money to support our Veterans in need, the Challenge was to raise $20,000.00 or auction off my motorcycle, to raise the $20,000.00, I was glad to report to the Veterans Council that the total raised was $23,000.00, and I was able to keep my bike!
I am a Member of the American Legion post 318, I serve on the Executive Board as well as having served as the Director for the American Legion Riders. In 2013 I was given the Honor of being Named the Volunteer of the Year by the Department of Veteran Affairs , in Port St. Lucie, Co. I have continued to be a blood donor for my community having donated over 37 Gallons. I enjoy helping out in my Community and I also enjoy riding my Motorcycle.
