Sharon's Story
Life
Met my husband, Sam (Neshaminy '69 & Millersville '74), at Millersville State College in Millersville, Pennsylvania, and we were married from June 2, 1974 until he passed away on February 12 (2007), 4 months shy of 33 years. For many years we were involved with theater in some fashion, and my husband had extensive operatic vocal training. I worked as a programmer analyst for many years before our daughter Sarah came along; she is now 20 years old. to Florida for his training, and subsequently to Chattanooga, Tennessee and ultimately to Toronto, Canada. We loved it up there! However, after 6 years residence, our work permit was denied and we've returned to Pennsylvania. I also still play the piano; it has been my most abiding interest all these years. Now I'm looking into upgrading my programming skills as I re-enter the work force.
Workplace
Actually, was at Cummins Diesel Engines first at H & Hunting Park in Philly then out in Willow Grove PA. But know a lot of folks who were there and are now at Bristol.
