Samuel's Story
Hello ! After i graduated in 1968 i started woking at The United Illuminating Co, I retired after 40 yrs of working and i moved to Montgomery AL, i resides until now. My retirement money goes a lot further in the south, i was born in AL by the way so i just moved back home and its the best thing i ever did believe me becauswe the home i bought in Al i couldnt afford the taxes on this home in Ct for real. I got married to my lovely wife of 43 yrs ago this June and we have two sons ages 44 and 38. I have one granddaughter who is graduating this May from the same school i went to 46 yrs ago before i moved to Ct at fifteen yrs old. I ran track at Hamden withTony Convino
and Joesph Gordon that was fun , Mr John Hobson was my electric shop teacher and my track coach , we got along great. My wife (Georgia) is from Al also and it was easy moving back home because we both were from Bama. I just think someti...Expand for more
me there were five hundred and seventy five students came out of Hamden High in 1968 and i dont no where five of those people are now, but i think God that i am still here and i am enjoying our retirement together as one. i"ev found a couple of people on facebook thou. I had forty yrs at my job and my wife did forty two yrs at Yale New Haven Hospital, we gave a hellva retirement party with three hundred and sixty four and we got out of dodge.I still have a home in Ct so i do go back at least twice a yr after all i really grew up there. So thats my story i hope i didn"t bore you and i still take pictures as a hobby for the last thirty yrs and i do come back to do photografre jobs. When i retired i retired from work not to go back to work i had a very dangerous job at the U I Com working with that electricity every day and i made it out safely thank you Jesus Thats half of my story SJ
