Sandi's Story
My family moved from Atlanta the summer of 1976 to our summer cabin in Rabun County. What seemed at the time (for me) the wrong move, turned out to be the best move of my life.
Rabun County is a wonderful community. When I arrived, not knowing anyone, the students of Rabun County High took me in and showered me with friendship (like I had always been here). Although our school did not have many of the things that Northside High had, it had just what I needed to put my life on a path of healing. I met such wonderful people - kind and caring and also met my best friend and husband.

students in our class formed a Bible Study, which I joined, not knowing what to expect, but I found that I had a hunger for the word and God and in 1976 gave my life to Christ.
My husband and I have two wonderful boys and a beautiful bright four year old granddaughter.
I love the lord and love to do mission work, both in our community and anywhere else God leads me. I am very active in our Church, a Food Distribution/Soup Cafe and clothing ministry and our local Community Theater along of many many other community activties.
In our free time I like to travel, camp, and ride road bicylces.
