Sandi's Story
Here I am!!
Wow it has been since 1983!! You know when you are in school you cant wait to graduate....dumb huh?
Now I am living in Colorado. Starting all over.
I lived in Fort Wayne with my two children as a single mother since 1996. Before this time I was married to the man I married in 1985.
We lived in Fort Wayne till 1986. Moved to Colorado, gave birth to my daughter in 1989, moved back to the Fort.
I raised my children by being a bartender and having my own cleaning service.
On April 01 of 2005 I suffered a brain anyuerism.
I was flown to a hospital in Indy and there I stayed in a coma for a month and half, 10% chance at life, and lost everything that I was use to.

After several attempts at making a come back, living out of my car, staying at friends, and really no help at trying to understand my situation....I moved to Colorado.
I have family here and obviously the kind of heart, caring, and giving needed to get me back on my feet.
I am 3 weeks from graduation from cosmetology school. Doing an internship at a really mod,rad salon called The Moxie!
So life is looking at feeling a whole lot better!!
My children came out of all of this GREAT!!
They live there in the Fort. My son is 23 and my daughter is 19. Both live on their own and have been since I got sick.
I miss some of those who shared my classtime
