Sandi's Story
Life
Where do I start... I went to college for a while after high school... wow, that was a lifetime ago! Headed for an Architecture degree... I ended up learning cabinetmaking instead. After our kids were in school, I worked as a cabinetmaker for about nine years. My husband and I are now getting ready to open a small cafe in a local community in what used to be a tavern. The in- between years, I worked for the local Police Dept as a dispatcher and was the director of a large ministry program.
I met my husband on the school bus the fall after I moved here. We will celebrate our 28th anniversary this Aug (09). We have three grown kids. Our oldest...Expand for more
son got married in 04. Our second son was married last Sept (08). No grandkids yet! And our daughter recently moved out to her own apartment, so it is just the two of us again.
We are very busy with our church.
My husband, Scott, and I love to travel, exploring the countryside we've yet to see. We have 2 1/2 acres in the foothills of the Willamette Valley in Oregon, where we love to garden. We also enjoy spending time with our large extended family, especially the holidays, when over 40 of us get together. I have recently taken up photography and realize I have a lot to learn (but it is a great excuse for us to get outside and away from home).
