Sandie's Story
Since high school I have married, divorced, married, widowed, had 3 glorious children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. I am richly blessed. I went through seminary and became a pastor for 10 years. Left the ministry and became a pagan. <not to be confused with satanism; whole different direction> I have been a High Priestess now for about 30 years. Fits me. The pic is 4 years old and I still look the same, only a few lbs lighter. I changed my name to Angel Winges 35 years ago and that fits me too. I've had a rich, varied, event-filled life and I love the person I am now through all those experiences. My chalice is still more than half full, and I am as bubbly as ever. I play with the Society for Creative Anachronism, a Medieval re-creation group. I get to dress in gorgeous gowns...Expand for more
and watch beautiful men bash each other with swords. Wonderful fun. I'm very creative; design and make one of a kind quilts, sculpt in clay, do Illumination, spin wool with a drop spindle, and lots of other fun things. In 1971 I became a Psychiatic Tech. I loved being a counselor and found my niche in life. I retired from U of CA Dept. of Psychiatry outpatient clinical work at age 50 and loved every minute of it. I am also a wholistic healer <had a clinic in Santa Barbara, CA where I taught health care professionals>, worked through the courts with sexually abused children, and did private counseling with teen drug addicts. Still dance and love it. I would love to reconnect with my classmates of the class of 1959, and any teachers who are still alive too. Best wishes to all of you.
