Sandra's Story

Life After graduation, I attended a technical training in Nashville and worked as a X-Ray technician for 8 years before moving to Oregon where I worked as an X-Ray technician. I met Stan Steele in Oregon and we were married in 1975. He had 4 children and at one time or another, I was responsible for one or more of them. We now have 5 grandchildren. In 1983, we moved to Moreno Valley, CA. Stan is a Building Designer and I got my California Real Estate License in 1983. After taking several seminars, I became a Land Use Consultant and for 12 years, I presented projects to governmental bodies requesting land use...Expand for more
approval. I served as Community Co Chair for the March Air Force Base Restoration Committee. I was secretary for the Association of Environmental Professionals. I was co-chair for the Environmental Sub committee for the Reuse of March Air Force Base. Stan and I were volunteers for the Moreno Valley Police Department for 5 years. We had some of the most exciting moments of our marriage while on duty. We moved to Utah in 1997 and plan to make this our retirement home. I have become active in Clan Keith, USA and serve as Regional Commissioner for our Clan. My latest endeavor is learning Gaidhlig (Gaelic).
