Sandra's Story
After high school I married Butch Stone from Columbia, in class of '80 at Hickman and we have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. We moved to Columbus Texas and have lived here for over 25 years. My 2 daughters are wonderful. Each a wonderful mother.
The oldest lives in Pasadena (Houston), Tx. and is married and has 3 boys-14y, 12y, and 5y.
My other daughter lives here in town and has 5 children- a boy13y, a girl 6y, another girl 3y and 2 step children 12 and 6.
My son is a Marine that served in Afghanistan and is now home living in Pasadena working full time and going back to school. I'm waiting for him to settle down and give me more grandchild...Expand for more

All in all my life has been great. I am thankful to God for that. It may sound boring to others but it has been quite a roller coaster ride. I am happy and content.
I was a Veterinary Assistant.for 13 years here and loved my job. Now I am a part time caregiver and stay home grandma. The best job a woman can have.
Butch and I enjoy being home alone now that all the kids are gone but we especially love it when the family all get together and bar-b-que. and just have a good time.
It's hard to believe it has been 34 years. Time has gone by too quickly for me. I still feel I should be 20 something instead of 50 something. Man does time fly!!!
