Sandra's Story
Life
I have lived in Columbia, SC since 1981. My parents still live in the valley so I visit several times a year. I got my Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Georgia. I finished my Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of South Carolina in 1987. I married Jim Manning in 1982 and have two sons, Jim age 23 and Luke,...Expand for more
age 21. Jim attends the University of Virginia Law School and Luke is at USC. I was elected to the Richland One School Board in 1992 and served for 12 years. I did not run for re-election in 2004. I work full time as a school psychologist and like to work out, run, and read. I attend Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia.(Updated June 25, 2012)
