Sandra's Story
Life
I am divorced & have two grown children of my own plus two grown stepsons & the youngest has two children. I am currently a student at CVCC In the Administration of Justice degree program. I am a Security Officer there & with a contract security co.I have been a secrity officer for 7yrs.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
How I blow off steam and I don't get mad or upset real easy.
I go off to myself for a while and meditate,take a long relaxing bath with lavender oil and lavender scented candles burning and Marvin Gaye or Barry white cds playing, spend time in the arms of someone special.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Yale Zimmerman,JR., because he was encouraging when I needed a change from retail work and factory work. He was the one who told me to give security work a try and was a sergeant working for Wackenhut privte security company and was working as armed security at the Ericcson plant when i worked at the plant on cell phones and radios. he and I became good friends and then started dating and became a couple until he got a federal job position in 2001 and then 911 occurred and we lost contact in late 2002. It would be nice to see my best friend and soul mate..
I love college basketball Va. Tech,Duke, and Clemson. I also love football and Pittsburg Steelers,and Miami is okay as well as GreenBay.
I also like Nascar. I always followed Dale Earnheart SR. and now I follow Dale JR. and Dale Jarett
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel kitchen and add on a sun room. My dream home would be log cabin or a ranch style house.

had an open door rule to all of my childrens friends and have encouraged them to have them over , was willing to carry them places and have them come to my house and spend time with my son & daughter. My son and daughter are very close to me and know they can come and talk to me anytime and their friends as well.
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it divided between my children James & Amanda, then spend the rest on a house of my own,a new pick-up truck & car, and then take a cruise to somewhere tropical with someone special.
My current age is 48. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong.
To become a lieutenant or a captain as a certified protection officer or a sergeant or lietuent as a college campus police officer
yes, still love my Levi jeans and tee shirt or a pair of jogging pants or Capris(clam diggers)
I share my home with daughter, which I find fun & enjoyable. Amanda is 23 and we are very close..
In 10 years, I hope to be retired and traveling. I'm going to get there by working hard after graduating in May2009 with a Applied Science degree in the Administration of Justice.
Suzanne Harvey we met in school and at church, her grandfather was a preacher and we were in youth activities together and I spent alot of time with her on weekends and one summer with her and her brother Clayton and Philip Neighbors and his brother Mark and Steve when my grandfather died(my moms dad)my 2 sisters and myself stayed with preacher Neighbor's and his wife which was next door to Philip and his brothers. On Sundays I was allowed to spend the day with Suzanne at her house (her mother was preacher Neighbors' daughter) and I got real close to her then and it continued all through school. Today we are still friends but don't talk or see each other much now because of our own families and work.
