Sandra's Story

I have been married (2nd) to the most wonderful man (Kevin) for 18 years. My son, Ryan (22) is a Music Major at the University of Tennessee. My daughter, Kortlyn (17) is a Senior in HS getting ready to go off to college to major in Zoology. We moved to Knoxville from Los Angeles just after the L.A. riots. My plan was to take 6 months off of work to help the children adjust. Instead of work I chose to stay home and volunteer in the PTA, every school event, and Girl Scout Leader. My husband and I started a business after moving to Knoxville. He is an Artist/Blacksmith and I manage the business details.....Expand for more
.all of them! His clients include Faith Hill, Alex Trebek, Senator Corker, Senator Frist, Caroline Kennedy...the list goes on. It's a GREAT life. When I'm not working at the business I also manage the Harbor at a local Yacht Club. Oh yeah! forgot to mention that we are avid sailors. The "other woman" is a 38' Sailboat that we call "Esperanza" (means hope). We love life in Knoxville and would never consider living any where else. We live 3 minutes from the lake and 7 minutes from our sailboat. We're looking forward to being empty nest'ers. It's not around the corner, but it definitely is within sight.
