Sandra's Story
Life
Don and I left Dalhart in 1992 when he promoted with the DPS. We lived in South Texas for two years. We adopted our son, Cody in 1993 and he has been a true blessing in our lives. Don was able to tranfer to Sweetwater, Texas so we could be closer to our families.
We live in Roscoe which is 8 miles west of Sweetwater. We both work in Sweewater and Cody goes to school in Roscoe. I have been teaching for 25 years, 13 in Dalhart and 12 in Sweetwater. I'm currently middle school coordinator coaching volleyb...Expand for more
all, basketball, and track. This is my second year in middle school and I really enjoy it. It has given me the opportunity to be at home more and I am able to go watch Cody in his sports. He is in 8th grade. He enjoys all the sports, but his favorite is TRACK! He ran all the relays last year, and he did long jump and high jump. Their team won the district championship. We have three dogs, a border collie, a beagle, and a rat terrier. Don and I celebrated our 25th anniversary by going on an Alaska cruise.
