Sandra's Story
Hello everyone, Where to start...lol..I am 66 years old [I guess we all are]. Have been married to the same man [Donald to family..Don to friends]for 38 years. He retired from the St. Louis County Highway dept. in 1995 after 26 years.
We now live at Patoka, Illinois. We are located about 2 miles off the Northeast edge of Carlyle Lake. Been here since 1993. We have horses & run a small trail ride business [by reservation only] on our property. This year we did very little business because we had huge trees come down blocking several of our trails.
We have a daughter, Rene' Stewart..3 grand children [all are grown now], Jessica, Heather & Andy Papp.We also have 3 great grandchildren, Nevaeh Grace [Heaven spelled backwards]..I love it..Heaven's Grace ..4 years old, Aubrey Jane..2 years old & Jackson Alexander ..5 weeks old.
I was an art major in school..so it was easy to get into crafting. My mother, my daughter & I, did some craft shows for several years and then Rene' introduced me to Ebay. It...Expand for more
was wonderful to sell some of my items on the internet. I do counted cross stitch mostly. I put the stitched pieces into greeting cards or just sell "as is". I have just found Ebid as an alternative site to sell on.
I also love to read. Has to be a book I just can't put down. Just recently found Patricia Cornwell. Her books fit that qualification. Other favorite authors are Nora Roberts, Jonathan & Faye Kellerman, Dean Koontz and some of Steven King. I have just finished reading Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga...All four books...I really injoyed them.I buy most of my books on ebay or ebid.
I added class pictures from Central Junior High. 1954/1955, & 1955/1956.
I added class pictures from grade school..back to 3rd grade. The pictures are from Webster, McKinley & Emerson school. Don't have any before that because prior to 1951 we lived in Pulaski, Illinois. I'm posting these pictures because some of you were in 3rd grade with me. Wow..
Enough for now..any questions, please feel free to ask.
