Sandra's Story
Life
For many years after high school I was a stay at home mom as many people were in those days. Once my children became a little older, I attended two area colleges and worked as a Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary off and on for 23 years. When I turned 50 I decided a career change was in order. A little more education completed and I had been a Medical Assistant/Supervisor for a local Pain Management and Rehabilitation clinic for six years. I am very happy that I made the change. It was a big decision in my life, but the best.
As a widow for over 14 years now, but as a mother of three great sons, I am blessed with eight grandchildren, five girls and three boys. The youngest is 2 now.
The first love of my life, (when I was 13 he was 15), has been in my life again for the past 13 years. This is a story made for TV. We will not marry but are very committed to each other. We have a lot of fun. He keeps me laughing, which is good medicine.
My father Paul passed away in 1999 at 94 years old, and believe it or not, my mother Edna made it to ...Expand for more
97 when she passed away in August, 2006. I was very blessed to have them so long. I took care of my mother day and night, and miss them terribly.
After living in my home in Milwaukee since 1993, I sold my duplex. We moved to an apartment home in Greenfield in October, 2006.
October 1st, we moved to our home in Windlake, WI. Love living on the lake again. My son Randy will take care of all the shoveling and mowing, so time to relax again.
I have kept in touch with a few people from WMHS, Horace Mann, Roosevelt Grade School and Washington Grade School, but sure would like to hear from anyone that would like to email me. I spend alot of my free time on my computer. I usually check Classmates.com 2-3 times per week. It's great to see names of people I grew up with and find out what they are doing now. Wish more people would post their bios. Hope to hear from you.
THE BEST PART....I RETIRED APRIL 20, 2007. THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IS "WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MY NAP TODAY".
