Sandra's Story
Life
After high school I married Ross and we started out our life in Harvard IL. Soon we moved to Iowa(the Des Moines area) to buy a business that was in my husbands family. Together we have worked to build it up. We now have eight children, a loud house, and lots of fun. Ross and I run a youth group out of a building that we bought, to keep the children off the streets. There is nothing better for them to do in Our town, so we have them come, hang out, play games, eat pizza and then hear a little bit of Ross' preaching. We home school our childre...Expand for more
n which is a challenge, but well worth it. My children are intelligent, funny, well behaved and they show an amazing love for each other. And yes, they have lots of friends.
This summer (2005)we have added another business to our list of activities. I started an Ice cream truck business. Can you believe a childhood memory that we took for granted most people out here have never even heard of!? I am one of only three known ice cream trucks in the state. The truck is doing better than I expected, we are adding another truck & driver for next summer!
