Sandra's Story
I have had a very exciting and wonderful life since graduation in 1962. I went to San Diego State College for two years, then off to the airlines to be a "hostess" for Continental. On a vacation to San Juan Puerto Rico, I met my husband, Ken. He was a handsome Ensign in the US Coast Guard. We were married three months later, and moved around the country for 22 years. o ,California in 1986. We had 3 sons, Scott, Richard, and Aaron. After my husbands retirement from the Coast Guard, I went to work for Blue Diamond (Almond Growers), and retired in 2004. We then moved to a small town in Wisconsin (Colfax), about 70 miles from the twin cities. It is a beautiful and relaxing life! Lots of wildlife, golf, bridge, friends and family. ( my parents live about 7 miles away.) I love retirement....but my husband of 41 years , passed away in 2007. A new life ahead!
