Sandra's Story
After graduation, I went to college not having a clue what I wanted to do with my life. My first year I was in a terrible car accident, which doctors did not think I would survive. I was faced with a long recovery, having to learn to walk and eat since I had broken jaws. Since I had to spend so much time indoors I craved the ability to be outside, hence my passion for horses ,hiking, fishing, and large dogs. After finishing school, I became a Marketing coordinator for an import export company in New York. I met my husband, Bruce and we had two children. bike. We were expecting our daughter in two months. The trauma resulted in losing her also. Bruce and I moved back here to be near my parents. Shortly , thereafter my Mom died unexpectedly , so we took care of my dad until his death. Bruce had a routine x-ray, and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I now work for a school district as an administrator. I am always busy, with the two horses, 4 cats and my beloved dog, not mention work and friends. I began painting after the accident, and still enjoy creating anything whether on canvas , in the kitchen, or in my garden. Most of all I enjoy having the ability to enjoy life .
