I got married after high school to the person I considered Mr Right only to find out 6 years later how wrong I was. I was then a single mom with two small children. Then I met my husband of 39 years who passed away in December of 2009. I have traveled quiet a bit; a lot of it for missions. I was in Nicaragua right after the fall of Noriega and saw the bombed out tanks at the airport and streets. I was in Belarus and Moscow right after the fall of communism and saw how the people did not even know how to take care of themselves because they had always had someone telling them what to do and when to do it. There I saw an 80 year old woman, when given a Bible, clutch it to her heart and cry. We take our freedom too much for granted. I have been to Mexico several times; once where everyone lived around a garbage dump because that is the only place they could get the things they needed to live.
