Life
My "life bio," well, let me see...
After graduation from Gilbert I went to the "Zoo" with a course of studies in Fine Art. I realized there that I didn't want to be a starving artist so I quit and got a job.
In 1987 I married Doug Lisella. We built a house and raised a family together in Tolland, MA. Sadly, the marriage barely made it ten years, but we have a beautiful son and daugher, Nicholas and Danielle.
In 1992 I opened a daycare center in Southwick, MA. Aside from having and raising my own children, Giant Steps Children's Center is my proudest accomplishment. I employed 13 staff members and at one time offered services to nearly 70 children. We became nationally accredited in 1999. I successfully sold my business in 2001.

nature of the job wouldn't take me into my oldladyhood, so in 2003 I took a manager position at a flooring/decorating center in Simsbury, CT where I'm currently employed. Until I win the lottery jackpot, I expect I'll be in this type of work for the duration.
I belong to a women's hiking club, The Summit Sisters. We've summited several mountains in The Whites (NH), several in the Adirondacks (NY) and my favorite, Katahdin (ME). We've also kayaked off the coast of Maine and hiked and biked in NY and VT.
I'm on the reunion committee for our class ('82) and we're currently planning our 25th reunion which takes place on November 24th of this year ('07). It hardly seems possible that 25 years have come between sledding on our lunch trays down the Gilbert hill and now. I'm looking forward to seeing my classmates in November!
Life has been good overall.
