Sandra's Story
Can't believe how fast time passes. I never thought I would leave the old neighborhood but with my mom getting older the stairs were to much, we ended up in Mt Prospect in a nice ranch. It is much easier to get around. I got married to my husband Carl in 1990 we do not have any kids but we do have a dog! Mom passed in 2004. 2007 for my birthday we went on an Alaskian cruse. We are looking forward to more cruises we love em.
In 2004 after 28+ years of working at the same company we merged and I lost my job. I am now working at Great Lake Navy base just doing Medical Record coding. I no longer have to assist any of the doctors. It is very interesting and I have learned so much because now instead of just orthopaedics I work for all the clinics. I hope this job lasts long enough till I retire!
